by all accounts,saddham's death sentence is unwarranted and unlawful.it is mockery of juriprudence.

Sentence was obviously timed to co-incide with the US mid-term elections.
We only know mainly what the political MSM ( mainstream media) tell us about Saddam's regime. If it's as accurate as their previous "certainty" of his having WMDs, who knows what he was and was not responsible for?
It was always just a show trial right from the start, the death sentence outcome fixed. The interim government is obviously simply a US extension and a facade.
In any case Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Blair deserve to hang alongside him for war crimes if any criteria of justice were to be applied across the board - which of course it never is.
